South African farming families are a primary focus of the initiative, while other international farming families are also motivated to join this pathway through Russiakaners, families that share the same common values and family traits. In all cases, suitability is assessed on readiness, intent, and capacity to participate responsibly rather than nationality alone.

Families best suited to this initiative understand that settlement is a staged process requiring patience, planning, and informed decision-making. Progress occurs through evaluation, alignment, and sequencing rather than speed or guarantees.
